History

In the beginning...

In 1954 Louis Verberckmoes started out with a modest furniture shop in the centre of Sint-Gillis-Waas. Later his 3 sons carried on the business and completed the move to the building with the pyramid-shaped roof. Being located next to the N49 motorway helped to give the store national exposure. In 1994 they expanded and moved to the Meubelplein De Piramiden with 3 interior design stores under 1 roof: Meubelen Verberckmoes, Okay (the 'young living' concept) and Interia (the design store).

The personal approach and family character, together with unvarying perseverance, have generated a steady and lasting growth during the past years. For this we must thank our customers who put their trust in us. Together with our numerous employees we will continue to always take this trust to heart.

We look forward to seeing you in our showroom where you are most welcome.
